1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Rookmate Chess Academy. By accessing our website (rookmate.co.in) or enrolling in our classes, tournaments, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Class Schedule & Attendance

Group and private sessions are scheduled according to mutual availability. Students are expected to arrive punctually for online sessions with functioning webcams and microphones. If a student is unable to attend a class due to illness or personal reasons, advance notification of at least 12 hours is requested to reschedule where possible.

3. Code of Conduct & Sportsmanship

Chess is a noble sport grounded in respect and fair play. Students are required to uphold high sportsmanship during internal academy tournaments and external competitions. Use of external chess engines, assistance software, or disrespectful behavior during live sessions will result in disciplinary review.

4. Fees and Subscriptions

Subscription fees for group and private training are payable in advance on a monthly basis. There are no mandatory lock-in annual contracts. Parents can pause or cancel enrollment by informing the academic coordinator before the commencement of the subsequent billing cycle.

5. Intellectual Property

All training materials, puzzle worksheets, study guides, and video analyses provided by Rookmate remain the intellectual property of Rookmate Chess Academy and are licensed exclusively for the student’s personal educational development.
